Gloria Jean Wilkinson was born March 19, 1937 in Valles Mines, MO. She was the daughter of Melvin “Doogie” Sr. and Marie (nee Maness) Courtois. She passed on February 20, 2018 at her residence in De Soto, MO at the age of 80 years. She is survived by her husband, Al Bounie Wilkinson, De Soto, MO; daughter, Kay (Ed) Schutte, De Soto; son, Kerry Wilkinson, Farmington, MO; one brother, Larry Courtois, Lake of the Ozarks, MO; two sisters, Sally Swaringim, De Soto, MO; and Glenda (David) Maupin, De Soto, MO; half-sister, Jane (Will) Harshaw Lindsay, De Soto, MO; sister-in-law, Pat Courtois, De Soto, MO; grandchildren, Andy (Shawna) Schutte, Dustin (Rachel) Schutte, Ginger Schutte, and Kara Wilkinson; great-grandchildren, Kyla Wilkinson, Gavin Wilkinson, Dylon Wilkinson, Kelsey Schutte, Emily Schutte, Bethany Schutte, Trenton Schutte, Kashdon Schutte, Abby Schutte, and Brexson Schutte. She is preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Melvin “Bob” Courtois, Jr.; great-grandson, Kyler Schutte; and a brother-in-law, Roy Swaringim;. Gloria worked at Three Maples; De Soto Drug; and White Rodgers in Affton, MO; she enjoyed sewing, reading, and her grandchildren. She was a member of the First Free Will Baptist Church, De Soto, MO.
