Gilbert Grover Street was born October 28, 1925 in Bunker, MO. He was the son of Cleveland Grover and Florence (nee Carpenter) Street. He passed on January 14, 2018 at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, MO at the age of 92 years. He is survived by his children, Brenda Scott, Festus, MO; Linda Latham, De Soto, MO; and Glenda (Eddie) Schutte, Festus, MO; grandchildren, Doug (Stacey); Charlie (Linda); Gilbert (Kelly); Kimberly (Mark); and Felisha (Jimmy); twelve great-grandchildren, Rickey, Jr. Ashley, Casey, Charles Paul, Brittanie, Tara, Allison, Matthew, Andrew, Haley, Morgan, and Jessica; and seven great-great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Audrey “Fern” (nee Wilkins) Street; two sons-in-law, Steve Latham and Joseph Scott; siblings, Mable Pritchett, Paulene Gordon, Juanita Parmer; Betty Smith, and Henry Street; grandson, Rickey (Tina survives) Gorman, and a great-grandson; Christopher Gorman. Gilbert was a set up man for Missouri Wood Heel.
