Gene “Shorty” Daugherty was born on June 30, 1945 in Red Bud, IL. He was the son of Lawrence and Iola (nee Recar) Daugherty. He died on December 25, 2012 at his residence in De Soto, MO at the age of 67.
He is survived by his brother, Dennis (Mary) Daugherty of De Soto, MO; brother, Lawrence (Debbie) Daugherty of De Soto, MO; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Earl Daugherty.
