Fern Arlene Besher was born November 2, 1932 in House Springs a daughter to William and Martha Elizabeth (nee Rogers) Whitworth. She died on June 28, 2012 at her Hillsboro (Mt. Freedom) home at the age of 79 years 7 months 26 days. She is survived by her son, Mel (Linda) Besher, Hillsboro and daughter, Darlean (Larry) Seaman, Green River, WY; one sister, Mildred Goode, Millington, TN; three grandchildren: Emery Besher, Angie Mattocks, and Larry Seaman II; nine great-grandchildren; and five great great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Melvin “Pee Wee” Besher; one grandson; and her step-father: Leslie Wren. Interment will follow services in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
