Eugene Klaus

Eugene L. “Bud” Klaus was born on Jan. 7, 1928 in Perryville, MO the son of Oscar & Ola (Seabaugh) Klaus. He died on March 1, 2012 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Crystal City, MO at the age of 84.
He is survived by his children, Mike (Terri) Klaus of De Soto, MO; Patty (George) Alvord of Memphis, TN; Dan (Wanda) Klaus of Omaha, NE; and Bob (Melissa) Klaus of San Antonia, TX; siblings, Nelson (Mildred) Klaus of De Soto, MO; and Jewell Wilson of St. Louis, MO; two sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Jett of Omaha, NE; and Sally Jett of Lebanon, TN; 16 grandchildren; and 23 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife Dorothy Ellen (Jett) Klaus; and a sister, Eulene (Thomas) DeClue.
Mr. Klaus was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church of Festus-Crystal City. He was a graduate of De Soto High School; and a retired Rural Carrier from the United States Postal Service.
