Ernestine Drennen was born in Prescott, Arkansas on April 7, 1939 a daughter to Floyd E. and Mary N. (nee Mitchell) Newton. She died on May 27, 2016 at her Hillsboro home at the age of 77. She is survived by her children: Michelle (Josh) Hogan, Hillsboro, Lloyd (Shannon) Drennen, Valles Mines, Lydia (Robert) Gresham, Coral Springs, FL, Howard (Beverly) Drennen, Coral Springs, FL; her grandchildren: Shay Gresham, Justin (Ashley) Drennen, Daniel Drennen, Garrett Hogan, Bailea Hogan, Chelsea Drennen, Ian Hogan; a great-grandson: Liam Drennen; one sister: Bobbi Jean McFarland, St. Petersburg, FL; one brother: William (Debbie) Newton, St. Clair; and one sister-in-law: Norma Mitchell, Little Rock, Arkansas. She is preceded in death by her parents: her husband: Donald Drennen: one bother: Willie Mitchell and a brother-in-law: Ron McFarland. She had worked for Brown Shoe and International Shoe Companies in St. Clair and Union, MO and later owned and operated Tine’s Beauty Shop in De Soto. Cody Alley, Chaplain for Mercy Hospice will officiate the funeral service.
