Elsie Etta Winter (nee Haverstick) was born October 17, 1938 in Valles Mines, MO. She was the daughter of David T. and Gladys (nee Robinson) Haverstick. She died on February 7, 2014 at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, MO at the age of 75 years. She is survived by her two sisters, Maxine (James) Acord, De Soto, MO and Vera (Gary) Adams, Lenexa, KS; one brother, David (Jeannie) Haverstick, Clemmons, N.C.; her step-mother, Elizabeth “Betty” Haverstick, Bonne Terre, MO; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Ed Winter; and two sisters: G. Barbara Beckham and Mary Viola Fischer. Elsie was the secretary at Farm Bureau Insurance Agency, Hillsboro, MO. She was a member of Dillon Chapter O.E.S.
