Eldon Phillip Hayes was born on August 13, 1944 in St. Louis, MO. He died on August 14, 2021 at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, MO at the age of 77. He was the son of Donald F. & Edna H. (Schemel) Hayes.
He is survived by his Janet Marie (nee Courtois) Hayes of Festus; one daughter, Carla (Dennis) Hayes-Gowen of De Soto; one sister, Karen (Jerry) Sheets of High Ridge; two grandchildren, Madison and Cameron; niece, Christine Nutile and nephew, Dan Sheets.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Gordan Hayes.
Eldon was retired from Boeing and was a veteran of the United States Army; and member of St. Rose of Lima. Proud grandfather that loved watching his granddaughters play softball and enjoyed the outdoors.
