Earl Foman Gillam was born June 25, 1928 in Belgrade, MO. He was the son of Lawrence I. and Oma E. (nee Giffin) Gillam. He died on February 26, 2013 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Crystal City, MO at the age of 84 years. He is survived by his children, Danny (Paulette) Gillam, De Soto, MO; Dennis (Kelly) Gillam, De Soto, MO; Devona (Mike) Mesey, De Soto, MO; son-in-law, Larry Kiger, De Soto, MO; siblings, Betty Merseal, De Soto, MO; Dean (Judy) Gillam, De Soto, MO; Merle (Shirley) Gillam, St. Louis, MO; Mary Ann Gillam, Kansas; and Ruth Downs, De Soto, MO; grandchildren, Melissa (Bobby) Hemmen, Jason (Jennifer), Megan, Kayla, and Katie Gillam; Jennifer Kiger, Ron & Krysten Schmaltz; Megan & Dalton Mesey; granddaughter-in-law, Brandi Gillam; great-grandchildren, Cassondra Whittier, Tyler, Haley, Colten, Austen, Luke and Olivia Gillam; and Jenna Hemmen. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Emma Lou (nee Gamble) Gillam; one daughter, Debra Kiger; siblings, Harold, Darrell, and Lottie Gillam; one grandson, Daniel Gillam. Earl was a life member of the Amvets Post #48, and Past President and Life Member of Jefferson County Coon Club.
