Dawn Allison Smith was born Nov. 12, 1965 in Crystal City a daughter to Cletis Edward “Ed” and Alice (nee Pennock) Smith. She died at her De Soto home on June 2, 2012 at the age of 46. She is survived by her parents who also live in De Soto; two sons: Jaimis Smith, De Soto, and Wyatt Smith, De Soto; and one brother: Keith Smith of Spirit Lake, Iowa. She was a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School, Houston, TX and worked for many years as a cashier at the De Soto Wal-Mart. Bro. Charles Miller will officiate the funeral service.
