Cornelia “Peggy” Wideman of Hillsboro was born on November 3, 1919 in Luebbering, MO. She was the daughter of Charles Wesley and Lucy Ellen (nee Baker) Hawkins. She died on March 24, 2008 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Chesterfield, MO at the age of 88.
She is survived by her daughter Judith (Dr. Andrew T., III) Pickens of Ballwin, MO; one son Robert B. (Bev) Wideman of Warrenton, MO; one sister, Vada Darcy of Robertsville, MO; and one brother John Paul Hawkins of Warrenton, MO; four grandchildren, Dr. Andrew (Lori) Pickens IV, Rebecca (Paul Brennan) Pickens, Paul (Amy) Wideman, and Brian (Jennifer) Wideamn; and eight great grandchildren, Riley, Samuel, Alyssa, Addison, Adrianna Wideman, Robert Brennan, Andrew Pickens, V, and Kiley Rae Pickens.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, her husband Wilford Wideman, two brothers James E. and Donald L. Hawkins, and three sisters, Juanita Mehler, Kathryn Wideman and Dorsey Vogard.
