Clara Frances Lanteigne was born July 1, 1920 in rural De Soto,a daughter to Oscar Bryant and Rhoda Frances (nee Larkin) Akins.  She died Dec. 3, 2010 at Community North Hospital in Indianapolis, IN at the age of 90.  She is survived by her children: Ruth Lanteigne, Iron Mountain, Mich, Herbert Lanteigne, Indianapolis, IN, Helen Lanteigne,Toronto, Ontario, Canada, William Lanteigne, Indianapolis, IN, Donald (Brenda) Lanteigne, Indianapolis, IN, Betty Lanteigne, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, John (Jennifer) Lanteigne, Navasota, TX, and Kenneth (Lesli) Lanteigne, Columbus, IN; 16 grandchildren; twenty one great-grandchildren; and one great-great- grandchild.  She was preceded in death by one sister: Dorothy Brandon; and three brothers Oscar Larkin Akins, Herbert Akins, and Oran Akins; one grandchild, Robert Lanteigne. Ms. Lanteigne was a shool teacher, homemaker, and  also worked as a clerk for the Jefferson County Sheriffs Department.  Rev. Dr. Jeremy Muniz will officiate the funeral service.
