My heart sank when I heard the news about Chris. I had not seen him in a few years, but remembered him well while working at Marquand Zion School. He was a wonderful young man. I will keep his family in my prayers.

As I sit here tonight after leaving the funeral home, I am reflecting on your short life and wishing you would have had more time here on earth to experience all life has to offer. The out pouring of people whose lives you touched is inspiring. This earth will never be the same without you in it
Christopher Douglas Gorman. Men like you are few and far between....hardworking, caring, compassionate, fun-loving.....and lets not forget hard-headed. I will miss everything about you including that infectious laugh of yours and sayings that only you could come up with i.e.(son of a sock eyed salmon, slap a Jewish monkey). I know your in a better place. A place where you aren't feeling any pain. I know we will be reunited again in heaven. Rest in Peace Cowboy... I love you....Felisha

I set here this morning in dis-belief that this is even real. We have been gathering up pictures for the funeral and one thing I can say there is so many smiles on your face. Always caring, loving and would have done anything for anyone. I think about what an honor it was to see you overcome so much in your life. You taught us all a lesson no matter what we are dealt don't let that hold you back from reaching your goals. You lived life to the fullest and never gave up touching so many lives along the way. I can see it now you and grandpa in heaven talking about old times and having lots of laughs. You will be greatly missed but never forgotten. I love you so much.. love always your aunt Carlen..

Chris lived at our home off and on for a good while. He was like a brother to my kiddos, and another son to Keith and I. We treated him like a son. If he got out of line, we let him know it. He told my kids that he did not mind that we "raked him over the coals" because he knew it meant we loved him and cared about him. He will be missed.

I always looked forward to seeing Chris at the sale barn. He was courteous, respectful and always had a kind word when I talked to him. Especially enjoyed hearing him laugh. He was a good friend and I'll really miss him.

I just heard the sad news about Chris. I had the privilege to be his teacher for one short year, and I have to say my life was, and is forever enriched for having known him. . He was always upbeat and positive. I know many times he was in pain, but never once did I hear him complain. Chris offered us so much: his contageous laugh, willingness to help. and most important, his desire to share his love for Jesus. He will be so deeply missed. Our loss is Heaven's gain. I know when he reached Heaven's gates Jesus was there to greet him with open arms. I can just see Chris embracing Him and letting out that unforgettable laugh. I'm sure he hasn't stopped talking or asking questions. Chris, I know you are happy and at peace. My condolences and prayers go to your family.

I never in my wildest dreams thought this could or happen to you. Chris Gorman is the truest definition of tough. You were a fighter, always, even when it hurt you tried your best not to let it show, and you would get up and go anyway. As rough and tough as you were on outside, you were a little teddy bear on the inside with a heart of gold. You were loyal, faithful, truthful through and through. You have always had my back no matter what, who, when or where. I was your aunt Amanda and you always made it a point that's who I was. Aunt Amanda and uncle Brian, I loved hearing those words come out of your mouth:) This still doesn't seem real, I keep thinking about our last conversation we had and you were gonna be coming out to stay the night soon, we had plans for this summer. How can we go without ever hearing your laugh again, or hearing you say I love ya, or telling Lucas you're gonna throw him in the lake the next time he calls you Chrissy. Lol. Presley grabbing your legs and you dragging him around the house or getting your lariat and roping the boys and dragging them through the yard. Me and Brian were talking this morning and he said when he thinks of you he can't think of one single bad memory. Everything is funny and always good times with you. Even when you were madder than a hornet we couldn't help but laugh at how wound up you would get. Ever since I heard the news I can't stop thinking about Christmas. It was so much fun having you stay with us and the boys, mason and Madison. We laughed so hard we were all in the floor crying til 2 in the morning! That is a memory I will never ever forget. There are so many. I can truly say that it has been an honor and a pleasure to know you, to love you, and to laugh with you, but of all to be loved by you. Because you my dear fought with courage, loved diligently, gave unconditionally, Spoke respectfully, lived freely and walked honorably. You were fabulous with Lucas and Presley and they adore you, we all do and always will. We will always sit around and tell Chris stories, laugh, and probably cry at times, but we will never forget the wild and free spirit you had, and that you weren't afraid to die. I love you Chris, forever, aunt Amanda.

I count it a blessing to have been Chris's teacher. I will always remember that deep laugh of his and his reply of "Oh Momma White, you know you love me," anytime he was being silly. He was a wonderful young man. My heart and prayers go out to his family.

If you knew Chris, you loved him. It's just that simple. Like my Mom said, "That boy lived more in his 21 years than most people do who live to be 90." He was a true free spirit, and a rare unique indidual. I know that Chris was not afraid to die, because Chris wasn't afraid of ANYTHING! I was so lucky to spend many, many hours in my classroom butting heads with him! My heart is broken and I can't quit crying, but my thoughts keep returning to Casey, who will probably miss him more than any of us. Chris had a zest for life and a love for people that all of us should strive for. Every year on OUR birthday I would get that phone call from him"HEY Chief ! Happy Birthday!", followed up with that trademark laugh of his. When sadness overcomes all of us, think about that moment when he would get so tickled nothing would come out of him but a rush of air, and then THAT laugh that just made you feel good. I cherish your memory in my heart forever little brother. You're free like a bird now...................V2 (Vicke Visnovske)
