Carol Ann Swanson was born in Sheboygan, WI on April 1, 1936 one of the eleven children of William and Katherine (nee Holmes) Plocar. She died at Mercy Hospital South on November 27, 2020 at the age of 84. She is survived by her son Scott (Gerry) Reimer, House Springs; step children: Michael (Christine) Swanson, High Ridge, Dody Swanson, St. Louis, Nanci (Rick) Kallaus, Wildwood; grandchildren: Andrea (Dayle), Crystal, Courtney, Sunny, and Ricky; great-grandchildren: Dayle and Hawkin; daughter-in-law Chris Freund, Hillsboro; and siblings, Jacque Rupp of WI; Charles Polcar of WI; Judy Fisher of NM; Shirley Woolman of AZ; Billie Bradley of AZ; and Darlene Wilke of AZ. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Delbert E. Swanson; her son Daniel Freund; granddaughter Windy Gale; and siblings, Jerry Polcar, Robert Polcar, Pat Starkey, and Katherine McClellon.  Carol obtained her nursing degree at the age of 50 and worked in local nursing homes and as a private in home caregiver.
