Bruce Alan Winckel was born in Bonne Terre on November 8, 1964 a son to Robert L. “Bob” and Edith (nee Cox) Winckel. He died at his Bonne Terre home on October 17, 2022 at the age of 57. He is survived by his wife Laurie (nee O’Neal) Winckel, Bonne Terre; one daughter Jaclyn (Kyle) Hathman, Bonne Terre; two sons: Joseph (Breanna) Winckel, Desloge and Jason (Nikki) Winckel, St. Louis; six grandchildren: Emmitt, Carter, Brooklyn, Emersyn, Louden and Lakelyn; four sisters: Karen (Ed) Schuh, Hillsboro, Cheryl (Barry) Byers, Washington, Melinda (David) McGougan, Eureka and Marg (Pat) Jackson, De Soto; one brother Robert L. “Bob” (Pam) Winckel, II; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents. Bruce was an avid sports fan who enjoyed playing golf and being with his dogs but his greatest joy was attending events where his children and later grandchildren were participating.
