Betty Jean Kite was born August 20, 1931 in Ware, MO. She was the daughter of Thomas K. and Effie Leona (nee Carrow) Clover. She died on April 24, 2014 at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, MO at the age of 82 years. She is survived by her two sons, Wayne (Beverly) Kite, De Soto, MO; and Dennis (Dorothy) Kite, Hillsboro, MO; eight grandchildren, Aleashia, Jordan, Chelsea, AJ, Wes, Terry, John, and David Kite; and nine great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Elmer Clyde Kite; siblings, Theda Colover, Norma Price, Helen Clover, Ethel Mae Martin, Beulah Hubbard, Maxine Ryan, Giles “Pete” Clover, William Clover, Don Clover, Price Clover, and JoAnn Clover.
