Bernice Stella Sansoucie Holstein was born February 3, 1931 in Richwoods, MO. She was the daughter of Charles F. and Bridgett (nee Kerr) Sansoucie. She died on February 2, 2022 at Joanne’s House at Hope Hospice in Bonita Springs, FL at the age of 90 years. She is survived by her sister, Martha Jane Saunders and sixty six nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carl Holstein, Jr.; and twelve siblings, .Leo J Sansoucie, Sr., Agnes E. Wagstaff, Dorthy Micke, Edna Brown, Virgil Sansoucie, Iona Boyer, Evelyn Meecey, Grace Wilkinson, Calvin Sansoucie, Charles Sansoucie, Maggie Wideman and Earl Sansoucie. Bernice worked at several upscale dress shops and became a model while attending college to obtain her real estate license. She then became quite successful, being active in the million dollar sales club and becoming president of the club in 1980. Above all, Bernice loved her family. She was known to be quite the giving and loving aunt by many. If there was a need, she met that need for family and church. As an expression of sympathy memorials may be made to Cancer Research.
