Benny L. Boyd was born November 14. 1936 in Holcomb, MO. He was the son of Henry and Altha (nee Wright) Boyd. He passed on March 30, 2018 at his residence in Hillsboro, MO at the age of 81 years. He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou (nee Buckingham) Boyd, Hillsboro, MO; his children, Steve (Gretchen) Boyd, Hillsboro, MO; David (Darla) Boyd, Hillsboro, MO; and Michael Boyd, Fenton, MO; Mary Lou’s children, Jerry (Michelle) Rainey, St. Peters, MO; Sandra (Rodney) Highfill, Wentzville, MO; and Adam (Katie) Thomure, De Soto, MO; his siblings; Don (Mary) Boyd, Wentzville, MO; Billy (the late Nada) Boyd, Wright City, MO; Charles (Jan) Boyd, Arnold, MO; Lilly Ann (the late Lonnie) Rapert, Nixa, MO; and Carolyn (Jimmy) Hancock, Wright City, MO; sisters-in-law, Anna May Boyd, Flint, MI; Dorothy Boyd, Springdale, AR; Louise Boyd, Festus, MO; and Nancy Boyd; Foristel, MO; grandchildren, Tiffany (Eric) Wright, Becky (Joshua) Kennon, Carrie (Jason) Miley, Christine Boyd, Phillip Boyd, Michael Scott Boyd, Jr., and Ethan Nickolas Boyd; great-grandchildren, Owen Wright, Raina Wright, Levi Kennon, Jude Kennon, Kayden Miley, Cuyler Miley, and Jaxon Miley; Mary Lou’s grandchildren, Rebecca, Eric, Jerry III, Crystal, Heather, and Kole; and great-grandchildren, Noah & Reagan.
