Athena Faline “Tina” Bettorf was born in Sacramento, CA on May 14,1960.  She died at Mercy Hospital South on March 15, 2025 at the age of 64.  She is survived by her husband Virgil Bettorf, De Soto, a daughter Samantha Smith, Alton, IL; a step son Justin Bettorf, New Castle, WY; step daughter Lydia (Josh) Olson, Hamel, IL; two grandchildren: Hunter and Alex; two sisters: Roxanne (Glenn) Sickmeier, De Soto and Justine “Dusty” (Rick) Ulrich, East Alton, IL two brothers Mike (Cathy) Koenig, Imperial and Gary Anderson, the state of Louisiana and a sister in law Nicole Anderson, Dittmer.  She is preceded in death by her mother Virginia “V.J.” (nee Hebenstreit) Pyatt, father Kenneth Koenig, step father Vince Pyatt, son Ronald Dale Jones, Jr.,  two brothers: Curtis Anderson and Blaine Robert Koenig and a sister in law Linda Anderson. Tina had retired from the Procter and Gamble Plant in St. Louis where she remained very involved in the Procter and Gamble Native American Network. She was also president of her own charity C.D.D.B. (Compassion, Devotion, Dignaty, Benevolence).
