Arlene was a dear, dear friend of mine....we became friends at Pevely Dairy Co., St. Louis in 1955....We kept in contact for many years and she and Al visited us in Tn in 1997..Her daughter Rhonda and our son Tim were the same age and both walked at Church Hill Downs in Ky probably in 1960 when we went on a trip together..We have pictures of this event with the two beautiful babies...We kept in touch at Christmas for many years...when they left Hillsboro we lost contact and a relative living near Hillsboro sent me the notice of her leaving to live wtih Jesus...she was a true, giving and caring friend...she took me under her wing at Pevely...I loved her beautiful hand-writing and tried to copy it...I know she raised a beautiful family...If any of the children care to contact me they may reach me at 5714 Delfren Lane, Katy, Tx 77493 281-574-3174...Would love to contact Dean that is living in Spring, Tx according to the article Rhonda has a special spot in our heart..hugs to her...So sorry to hear about our friend Al and his health issues.....love & comfort to you all... A truly wonderful woman lost her life to senseless violence. Hugs and love to her family left behind. May she rest in peace with our Lord. Kathy Belman

Dear ones: I spoke on the phone with Arlene several times this summer and I recall her being quite happy even though she had just been through some tough circumstances. I will always admire her for that. She had just returned from her recent trip yo Branson with her husband and some other members of her family. She was so excited too. She even discribed and named the things and places that were of definite interest to her. I still have the list by the phone that is on the desk in our bedroom scribbled on a yellow.sticky note. So later this week, when my cousin told us of her passing, I was saddened to learn of the details of her death and how she left her earthly home, but in my heart I believe that this journey is with God and she is also loving every minute of it. So sorry for your loss. I will miss her too. I always considered her to be a wonderful woman with a very warm personally who really cared about her mother and her wish to reunite the Riechmann clan. Best wishes always, Your cousins, Martha Ann Atherton-Lamczyk and her family
