What an awesome guy. Never saw him without a smile on his face. Every time I got to see him, it was a good day. I was shocked today to hear about his passing and my heart breaks. My condolences to his children, sister, and mother and father. Sorry for your loss of a great man, father, brother, and child.

A flash of memories… New York. Jeffco. Swimming. The farm creek. Watching TV. Eating Pizza. A small white car. Your sister. “You Might Be Crazy”. Your crooked smile and raised eyebrow. A leather coat. A ring. A young love. Rest now Andrew. I will always remember.

Drew, MJ I never expected having to write something like this to you - usually when we talked, it was filled with words of wisdom and humor. You could always figure out a way to make me laugh, and provide me with awesome advice. Those conversations through the game and discord will be held close to my heart - especially when I'm out there winning my "expensive fancy ribbons". Thank you for being a great friend and confidante. It's not goodbye, only so long for now. Keeping you and your family in my thoughts. JL

Drew was a leader, mentor, partner, and brother-at-arms in a digital world, as well as a real life friend. Words cannot express how the digital world revolved about him and how much he will be missed in real life. Rest in peace our compadre, and may God have mercy on your soul.

I’ve struggled trying to write this. Maybe because the words I’m typing make your loss all too real. I guess I thought it I didn’t say goodbye you would still be out there somewhere helping your mom, riding shotgun with Penny, or working on my hopelessly chaotic account. It’s hard to believe that we are existing in a world without you. Your heart and your humor made you so very special. Your love for your family and friends made you unforgettable. We are all a little lost without you but we are all better for having known you. I will miss you forever my friend. May God cover your family in his comfort. Shelley (Lyv)

Drew-How do I say goodbye to you?? You have been a rock for so many, a shoulder to cry on, an ear to listen to, and a sarcastic voice when people needed it most. You made us smile and laugh and think. You were so very smart and loved to debate pretty much everything. My heart breaks for your children and your family. I know that they say time heals all wounds, but the wound you leave behind is so very large that I’m not sure if it will ever be totally healed. You are one of a kind and I am sooo very grateful to have called you my friend. Until we meet again ❤️❤️ Lisa

I wish I had more time to get to know you, my friend. But from the time we did have, you truly left a lasting mark. You welcomed me into BAD with open arms, and I’ll forever be grateful for that. Your memory will live on in the lives of all you’ve touched. Know that you are going to be truly missed. From your friend… Sully.

What an amazing person. I met Drew on an online game. Over the time we spent together playing and talking on discord, the group of us became more than just friends. Drew was always someone I could count on to brighten my day. I didn’t realize that this was going to hit me as hard as it did. He will be missed everyday. The world is a little darker now. My deepest condolences to his family. I hope that when you remember him you smile and think of all of the memories you have. He has touched the hearts of many others all around the world. Something I read that brings me a little peace and comfort. Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us every day, unseen unheard but always near. Still loved still missed and very dear. May you rest in peace. You are loved and missed. Tyler aka Stevo.

To our beloved Mamma Jamma aka Drew aka Andrew aka MJ - you had a lot of names! What an impression you have left on all of us in our short time together. We may not have met in person, but our weekly discord calls were real and our dysfunctional gaming group has turned into a virtual functional family thanks to your big heart, funny jokes and persistence! This hits hard for all of us but Toledo, we mourn this loss with you and will be there when you need us. To his family, know that during this tragedy, Drew touched many lives not just here in the US but all over the world. Like Dax said, he loved his family and talked about y’all often. Know that his memory will live on and we are sorry for your loss and I pray for peace and comfort thru this tragic time. MJ, you will always with us and BAD will not be the same without you. RIP brother Calc

I knew Andrew through his nephew Wyatt. Wyatt was best friends with my son. He practically watched my son grow up together with his nephew. Andrew was a funny, smart and very kind soul. His hometown is greatly going to miss him.

The story of how I knew Drew and how he affected my life. I met Drew 2 years ago in a mobile game we played together on the same server. He was being funny in our chat room and actually created a little spat with other people trying to convince him to join their alliances. Everyone wanted the funny man. I was the lucky winner he joined mine (BAD our alliance name). From that moment 2 years ago we chatted daily in game and weekly in voice on discord. Nobody made us laugh like he did. We spent many nights chatting about life, the universe and everything from music to Dr. Who and how much he loved his family, his kids, his parents, grandma, uncle and aunt, and of course Penny. Drew was a leader, a teacher, a peacekeeper and a listener to anyone in our alliance (130 of us) and a friend. Our alliance is deeply saden with his passing, I know it is hitting me harder than one could expect for a virtual friend. I miss his voice, his laughter and even his sarcasm. I will never forget you Drew, our game friends will never forget you. Love always and forever, Corena (Dax, leader of the BAD)
