Alverta “Rae” (nee Martindale) LeClair was born March 2, 1946 in Pittsfield, IL. She died on July 3, 2017 at her residence in De Soto, MO at the age of 71 years. She was survived by her children, Mark LeClair, Andover, MN, Todd LeClair, Trevor WI, Brad LeClair, Quincy, IL and Julie Rodgers, Mesquite, TX; sisters: Roberta “Bobbie” (Charles) Rigdon, De Soto, MO; Phyllis “Jeannie” Frische, Payson, IL; Nancy Anthony, Quincy, IL; Amella (Mike) Shade, Ft. Wayne, IN and Frances (Tony) Boone, Payson, IL; 14 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; and a daughter-in-law: Gidget Claus, Quincy, IL. She is preceded in death by her parents: Alto and Wanda (nee Sisk) McNary ; two husbands, Edward LeClair and Lindell Claus; one son, Jeffrey Claus; one sister, Barbara Corder; two brothers-in-law Don “Duck” Anthony and Rodney Corder. She had worked as an accountant for Certified Funding and was a member of Victoria United Methodist Church. The service will be officiated by Stephanie Rustage.
