Alice Marie Dufrenne was born on June 11, 1943 a daughter to Cleophus “Jack” and Wanda M. (nee Stewart) Wilson. She died at Mercy Hospital-South on July 29, 2020 at the age of 77. She is survived by her children: Nancy Roberts, De Soto, Michelle “Shelly” Schweppe, De Soto, Karline (Rick) Koalczyk, St. Ann, TSgt Cierra (TSgt Travis) Brown, USAF, Anchorage AK, Barbara Hicks, Enid, OK, Mary (Earl) German, Hillsboro, and Sherry Brown, Affton; grandchildren: Anthony Schweppe, Jr., Tonya White, Rhonda Dufrenne, Jacob Wolverton, Samantha Leek, Nikki Harris, and Scott Brown; several great-grandchildren; one sister Betty Spurgin, De Soto; two brothers: Frank Wilson, De Soto and Steve (Terri) Wilson, De Soto: and a sister-in-law Ethel Wilson, De Soto. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Murray “Jake” Dufrenne; a son Justin Dufrenne; two grandchildren: Steve Williams and Sarah Schweppe; two brothers: Robert “Bob” Wilson and Bill Wilson and a brother-in-law Karl Spurgin. Alice had retired from the De Soto Wal-Mart Store where she worked in the fabric department and as a greeter.
