Alfred Dennis Miller was born in St. Charles on September 30, 1951 a son to Mathue and Louise (nee Gillam) Miller. He died on November 7, 2025 at Mercy Hospital-Jefferson at the age of 74. He is survived by his wife Paula (nee Hancock) Miller, Valle Lake; his daughter Annie (Patrick) McManus, Concordia; his son Jesse (Jessica) Miller, De Soto; five grandchildren: Brendon McManus, Samuel McManus, Jackson McManus, Lily Miller and Madalyne Petty; two sisters Cindy (Ken) Slinger, De Soto and Beth (Barry) Yancey, De Soto and a sister in law Melinda Miller, Charleston. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother Kevin Miller. Dennis served in the United States Army and retired from the National Guard. For his civilian occupation he worked most of his career for grocery stores, starting with Kroger and retiring as the Safety Training Manager for Shop and Save.
