Theodore C. “Ted” Cage was born November 23, 1941 in St. Louis, MO. He was the son of Clifton Clyde and Muriel Leona (nee Montgomery) Cage. He died on July 17, 2025 in St. Louis, MO at the age of 83 years. He is survived by his children, Robynn (Trent) Madison, Brownsville, KY; Jimmy Cage, Imperial, MO; Regina (Jerry) Moore, Hillsboro, MO and Renee (Roy) Kinsey; sisters, Beverly Whitehead, Hillsboro, MO and Yvonne Kent, Seattle, WA; grandchildren, Crystal, Katie (Kyle), Jake, Tony (Amanda), Josh (Heaven), Elizabeth (Jonathan), Marissa (Chloe), Kyle (Lauren); and Katie (Jesse); great-grandchildren, Lily, Jace, Ava, Calvin, Meredith, Chapman, Beckham and Avery. Ted served in the U.S. Army. He worked as an assembler at General Motors, after his retirement from General Motors he drove a school bus for the Hillsboro R-III school district for several years. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Kathleen A. “Kathy” (nee Mudd) Cage; and a sister, Sue Cage Nax. As an expression of sympathy memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
