Robert Douglas Liley was born on June 3, 1951 in Fall River, Massachusetts. He was the son of Charley B. & Lorraine (nee Perron) Liley. He died on August 4, 2024 at his residence in De Soto, MO at the age of 73.
Robert is survived by his wife Susan (nee Sherrow) Liley of De Soto; one son, Matthew (Deb) Liley of Barnhart; one daughter, Kristie (Jeremy) Lewis of De Soto; 4 grandchildren, Ryan, Isabella, William, and Lars; a sister, Charlene (Wayne) Mayberry of St. Charles, MO; and two brothers-in-law, Randy Sherrow on De Soto and Jody Sherrow is Elsberry.
Robert was a heavy equipment operator for Fred Weber and J.H. Berra Construction and a member of the Operator’s Union Local #513. He is a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church of De Soto.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, David Liley and Richard Liley; and a brother-in-law, Gene Sherrow.
He was very loved by his family and friends and his pets Honey and Harriet!
