Robert Lee “Bob” Reed was born in Jefferson City on September 17, 1934 a son to Allen Edward and Myrtle May (nee Miller) Reed. He died on February 6, 2025 at Mercy Hospital Jefferson at the age of 90. He is survived by his children: Dr. Kim Weitl, Imperial, Lisa (Jim) Gamble, Voorhees, NJ, Robert John Reed, Valle Lake, Patrick (Diane) Reed, Hillsboro and Mary Nicole “Nikki” (Shawn) Copeland, Alton, IL; his grandchildren: Lindsey (Ryan) Baker, David Gamble, Jillian (Jesse) Coffey, Ryan (Jackie) Gamble, Jordan Reed; Ryder Copeland, Lydia Copeland and Brandon (Laura) Rendon; great grandchildren: Callan Coffey, Carter Reed and Carianna Rendon; two sisters Marcella Luechtefeld, Glenco and Mary Jane (Lloyd) Thebeau, Hillsboro; three brothers David (Janet) Reed, Hillsboro, Dr. Leslie (Mary Beth) Reed, Hillsboro and Roger Reed, Hillsboro; two sisters in law: Liz Reed Hillsboro and Linda Bauman Reed, Festus and numerous nieces and nephews. Bob is preceded in death by his parents; five sisters: Amelia “Dolly” Thomeczek, Helen Hayes Agnello, Dr. Martha Reed, Sarah Reed and Della Reed; four brothers: Eugene “Pete” Reed; Don Reed, Franklin “Frank” Reed, and James Reed; two sisters in law Patricia Reed and Waltraud “Trudy” Reed and three brothers in law: Norbert Thomeczek, George Hayes, and Salvatore Agnello. Bob served in the United States Air Force and had retired as a draftsman from Combustion Engineering. He was a member of B.P.O.E. #689 and enjoyed playing golf and hunting.
