Richard Arnold “Rick” Brown was born in De Soto on February 15, 1956 a son to Julius S. and Ruby M. (nee Harper) Brown. He passed peacefully at his Hillsboro home on March 1, 2026 at the age of 70.  Rick had retired from the Chrysler Automobile Manufacturing Plant in Fenton in 2006.  That same year his granddaughter Makayla was born.  He enjoyed working on cars (Mopar) and going to car shows and shooting matches. His greatest joy however was spending time with his family.  He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years Judy L. (nee King) Brown; his son Ricky (Rachelle) Brown, De Soto; that special granddaughter Makayla Brown; his sisters: Pauline (Paul) Harrison, Valles Mines, Leona (Raymond) Skaggs, Valles Mines and Ruby “Sissy” Brown, Potosi  his brothers: Julius “Dude” (Diane) Brown, Park Hills, and Ken (Carla) Brown, De Soto and  and two sisters in law: Janet “Snookie” Brown, Bonne Terre and Faye Brown, Farmington.  He is preceded  in death by his parents; brothers: Danny Brown, Alvin Brown and Leroy Brown and his sisters in law: Joan Brown and Carol Brown.  He was a member of U.A.W. Local #110
