Marlene Louise Nebel was born in St. Louis on March 16, 1943 a daughter to Marcella (nee Weber) and Ralph Prinz, Sr.  She died at Mercy Hospital Jefferson on March 6, 2021 at the age of 77.  She is survived by her daughters Carolyn (Richard “Rick”) Kaeser, De Soto and Deborah “Debbie” (Rodney) McMillin, Blue Springs; three grandchildren William Kaeser, Garrett McMillin, and Tyler McMillin and one brother Ralph (Celeste) Prinz, Jr, Chesterfield.  She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband J. Edwin “Ed” Nebel.  Marlene was a graduate of Hazelwood High School and Southeast Missouri State. She worked with her husband at the Nebel Insurance Agency, and also taught school.  She was a member of Dillon Chapter #116 O.E.S. and had served as Bethel Guardian for Bethel #36 Job’s Daughters, Bonne Terre.  As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 4207 Lindell Blvd., St. Louis MO  63108
