Marilyn May Irwin was born on May 16, 1932 in Chickasha, OK a daughter to Jay T. and Janet (nee Pickering) Wantland. She died at Mercy Hospital Jefferson on March 23, 2025 at the age of 92. She is survived by two daughters: Elizabeth “Liz” (Stephen Deaton) Irwin, High Ridge and Monica (Justin Pouliezos) Irwin, Victoria; four grandchildren: Alex (Sara) Irwin, Knoxville, TN, Katherine Irwin, St. Louis, Lucas Yockel, Kansas City and Alexis Yockel, Arnold; six great grandchildren and a sister Marjory Ives, Victoria. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Wallace Irwin, a son Monte Irwin, two brothers: Charles Wantland and Paul Wantland; a sister in law Lucy Wantland and a brother in law John Ives. A long time citizen of Victoria Marilyn had retired from Spielberg Manufacturing. She had been a member of Victoria United Methodist Church and currently was a member of First United Methodist Church, De Soto.
