Louis Arnold “Butch’ Viehman was born in Bonne Terre on April 13, 1953 a son to Jack A. And Josephine “Louise” (nee Solomon) Viehman. He died at his Desloge home on March 12, 2026 at the age of 72. He is survived by his wife Susan (nee Snyder) Viehman, his mother in law Eunice (the late Marvin) Snyder, Ironton; his children Jeff (Jill) Viehman, De Soto; Michelle Viehman, Farmington and Tara Viehman, Phoenix, AZ; his step children Aaron (the late Stephanie) Hinkley, Cadet and Stephanie Busby, De Soto; grandchildren: Brandon (Tiffany) Viehman, Grant (Kate) Viehman, Caitlyn Smith, Alexis Smith, Timothy Harmon and Ava Viehman; step grandchildren: Micah Hinkley, Aaden Hinkley, Abby Hinkley and Leah Busby; great grandchildren Zeke Viehman, Elllie Viehman and Lizzie Sloma; a sister Karen (Marvin) Williams, De Soto and a brother Kenneth (Leanne) Viehman, Hamel, IL. He is preceded in death by his parents; a wife Janet (nee Mackley) Viehman and a brother Roger Viehman. Butch had retired as a Quality Supervisor for Union Pacific Railroad. He enjoyed playing golf and was a member of De Soto Christian Church.
