John Marshall Ives was born in St. Louis on September 22, 1950 a son to John Kimball and Marjorie (nee Wantland) Ives. He died at his Ware home on December 5, 2025 at the age of 75. He is survived by his mother who lives in Victoria; his daughter Marla (Jason) Evans, De Soto; two grandsons: Marshall (Kaitlyn) Kemp and Chance (Rachel) Posey; six great grandchildren: Brooklyn, Barbara, Eli, Jack, Chase and Charlotte; two sisters: Nancy Spangler and Susan Teague; two brothers Frank Ives and Jason Ives; his girl friend and “Queen Bee” Sue Jones and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father and one brother Kevin Ives. After his retirement from the United States Marine Corps John worked for Died Enterprises.
