Joel Hernandez was born on September 1, 1961 in Corpus Christi, TX. He was the son of Joe T. and Eva (nee Palacios) Hernandez. He died on January 5, 2021 at Mercy Hospital Jefferson at the age of 59.
He is survived by his wife Kathy M. (nee Barnett) Hernandez of De Soto, MO; his children, Jason (Renee) Parsons of Barnhart, MO; Joshua (Kristin) Parsons of Sunset Hills, MO; Jacob (Amy) Parsons of Hillsboro, MO; Joseph (Nicole) Parsons of Fenton, MO; Joseph Hernandez of Fenton, MO; and son-in-law, Kyle Courtois, De Soto, MO; one sister, Diana (Danny) Kyle, House Springs, MO; one brother, John Homer (Karen) Hernandez, Ballwin, MO; one aunt, Linda Day, Barnhart, MO; twelve grandchildren and nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Lindsey Hernandez Courtois.
