James Wayne Houston was born July 26, 1938 in De Soto, MO. He was the son of James Amos and Myrtle (nee Hayes) Houston. He died on January 25, 2015 at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, MO at the age of 76 years. He is survived by his wife, Joan (nee Coleman) Houston, De Soto, MO; children, Kim Houston, Richwoods, MO; Angie (Dale) Davis, De Soto, MO; Barry Lewis, De Soto, MO; Ron (Chrissy) Lewis, Hillsboro, MO; Khristine (Scott) Bayer, Festus, MO; brother, Greg (Carol) Hayes, Bonne Terre, MO; thirteen grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; one son, James Houston; one sister, Betty Koch, brother-in-law, Deno Koch and a sister-in-law, Joyce Hayes. James was a carpenter with local #2214.
