David Ralph Jackson was born on September 29, 1938 in Cadet a son to David. D. and Lona Mae ( nee Missey) Jackson. He died at his De Soto home on April 18, 2025 at the age of 86. He is survived by his wife Marsha P. (nee Rickard) Jackson; three daughters: Melody (Joe) Coleman, Potosi, Felicia (Greg) Huff, Oak Grove and Melissa (Bob) O’Guin, Waterloo, IL; his grandchildren: Courtney (Kacy) Coleman, Bradley (Danielle) Coleman, David (C.K.) Shaku, Danielle Fagan, Keegan Huff, Keeley Huff, O.T. Huff, Sean (Maria) O’Guin and Ryan O’Guin; a great grandchild Kaleb Fagan; a sister Barbara Keefe and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; one sister Esther Henson and five brothers: Andrew Jackson, Lehman Jackson, Lindell Jackson, Marvin Jackson and Robert Jackson. David served in the United States Army Reserve and had retired from McDonnell-Douglas/Boeing as a F-15 inspector. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
