Brendan (Shomaker) Detter was born September 12, 1997 in St. Louis, MO. He was the son of Mable (nee Shomaker) Detter.  He died on April 16, 2025 in De Soto, MO at the age of 27 years. He is survived by his Mother, Mable Detter, De Soto, MO; siblings, Jacob M. Detter, De Soto, MO; Taylor M. James, De Soto, MO and Kolbie D. Emily, De Soto, MO; two nieces, Heaven Lee Hope Shomaker and Melayla Raylynn May Shomaker. two nephews, Luke Arthur Gaston and Jase Ayden James; other close family, Baylee & Drew Poe and Derrick Emily; several close friends, Heather Whitby, David Eads, Zac Smith, Shane Nash, Cody & Cory Coleman, Roluu; Aron & Caleb Crowell, Dante Watters and Mitcheal Fisk. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Virginia & Jerry Detter and Melvin & Alline Shomaker, one uncle, Randy Gaston, one brother, Holden Detter and a brother-in-law, Gary James. Brendan enjoyed wrestling with nephews and nieces, boxing with his brother and sisters, playing his guitar, watching movies with his mom, gaming with friends and nephews; skateboarding, fishing, and spending time with loved ones. He loved Ed, Edd & Eddie and loved to pick on his baby sister.
