Billy F. “Bill” Dean was born in Black Rock, AR on June 6, 1940 a son to Odst and Marvella (nee Anderson) Dean. He died at Mercy Hospital Jefferson on April 6, 2026 at the age of 85. He is survived by his wife of almost 66 years Kathleen “Kathy” (nee Kamuf) Dean, De Soto; two sons Kevin (Louisa) Dean, Affton and Duwain (Gina) Dean, Union; six grandchildren: Spencer Dean, Ben (Mackenzie) Dean, Cortnie (Will) Hulett, Taylor (Blake) Chapman and Taylor’s mother Stacy, Alex Dean and Gabby (Andrew) Olejnik his great grandchildren: Ava, Carter, Sparrow, Evie, Conscious, Phoenix, Scarlet, Willie, Amori and Gracie with one more on the way; a brother Gene (Judy) Dean, St. Charles and a sister in law Peggy Dean, Lesterville. He is preceded in death by his parents; his sister Paula (Brian) Cochran and three brothers Jerry Dean, Stan Dean and Nippy Dean. Bill had retired from Bud Anderson Ford as their body shop manager. He also had his own body/auto repair shop and an excavating company. He was a member of First Baptist Church, De Soto.
