Dennis E. Porter

Dennis Eugene Porter was born on November 9, 1954 in St. Charles, MO. He was the son of the late Julian R. & Helen L. (nee Farnham) Porter. He died on January 2, 2026 at his home in De Soto, MO at the age of 71.

Dennis married Linda (nee Brandon) Porter on June 5, 2004 at First Baptist Church of De Soto. Linda survives in De Soto; he is also survived by his son, Bryan (Angela) Porter of St. Charles; two grandsons, Nicholas and Jackson Porter; one brother, Bruce (Claudia) Porter of Morrison, CO; and two sisters, Barb Forck of Jefferson City, MO and Regina Logan of Fulton, MO.

Dennis was a black belt in taekwondo who enjoyed wood working, riding his motorcycle and science fiction. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam Era. He was retired from Boeing and was a member of the First Baptist Church – De Soto.
