William J. Modrosic

William J. Modrosic was born in St. Louis on May 20, 1943 a son to Joseph L. and Tessie (nee Lesh) Modrosic. He died at his rural De Soto home on March 15, 2024 at the age of 80. Bill served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was a firefighter for the Springdale Fire Department for 31 years retiring as Fire Chief. In his retirement Bill enjoyed working around his De Soto farm, fishing and volunteering with the De Soto Food Pantry. He is survived by his wife Karen (nee Faust) Modrosic. Bill and Karen were married on January 24, 1970. He is also survived by daughter Lynn (Paul) Braun, Fenton and a son William J. (Cindy) Modrosic, De Soto; four grandchildren: Katelyn Braun, Andrew Braun, Liam Modrosic and Sean Modrosic and a sister Rosemary Robinson, Dallas, GA.
