Alice G. Howell Solomon

Alice G. “Ginger” Solomon of Hillsboro, MO died on February 9, 2024 at Mercy Hospital Jefferson at the age of 84. She was born on August 23, 1939 in Richwoods, MO and was the daughter of Theodore “Ted” Henry and Alice Margaret (nee Murdick) Howell.

She is survived by her husband Earl S. Solomon, Hillsboro; her children, Vicky (Jeff) Partney, Aurora, KY, Doug Solomon, Hillsboro and Brad (Kristina) Solomon, Big Sandy, TN; her grandchildren: Melissa (Mark) French, Christina (Joshua) Reinhart, Stephanie (Tyler) Halton, Ryan Solomon, Jenelle Duncan, Jenessa (Austin) Shearer, Jessica (Matt) Henry, Shane (Amber) Solomon, Jacob Solomon and Robert (Diamond Herrera) Solomon; and her great-grandchildren: Ava, El, Alex, Asher, Autumn, Jayden, Payton, Landyn, Jack, Weston, Leo, Wyatt, Lilo, Jaylynn and Echo; and one brother, Ted R. (Nancy) Howell, De Soto.

Ginger had worked as a secretary for Hope United Church of Christ and with her husband Earl had a crafting business. She took greatest pride in being a homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother. Ginger enjoyed gardening, fishing and her pets. She also enjoyed traveling, especially to Greers Ferry Lake, the Mary Ellen Gold Mine in Wyoming and visiting Canadian waterfalls. She was a member of Hope United Church of Christ-De Soto
