Steven Pinkley was born in Bonne Terre on August 23, 1954 a son to Willys and Mildred (nee Morlan) Pinkley. He died on October 31, 2021 at his Festus home at the age of 67. He is survived by his wife of nearly 44 years Pamela (nee Skiles) Pinkley; three sons: Kerry (Jennifer) Pinkley, Hillsboro, Terry (Autumn) Pinkley, De Soto and Steven (Kaylee) Pinkley, St. Louis; grandchildren: Austin, Tyler, Ethan, Kaitlyn, Shealynn, Clay, Koya and Arlyn; two brothers Clifford Pinkley, De Soto and Darryl (Tammy) Pinkley, De Soto; four nieces: Brandi, Brea, Kayla and Danielle and several great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and a nephew Chris Pinkley. He had retired as a maintenance mechanic from The Boeing Company and was a member of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers Local #837. He was a member of the Big River Hunt Club, the Plattin Boat Club and had also served as a volunteer for the De Soto Rural Fire Department. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, camping, hunting, fishing, boating and kayaking.
