Bertha Mae Logan was born October 9, 1929 in St. Louis, MO. She was the daughter of John Brown and Mary Matlock. She passed on October 28, 2020 in Pacific, MO at the age of 91 years. Bertha leaves to cherish her memory three daughters, Glenda Moore, Florissant, MO; Sheila Cowan, De Soto, MO; and Lisa (Derrick) Stith, Florissant, MO; two sons, Kenneth (Joyce) Logan, Hillsboro, MO; Barry (Sue) Logan, Pacific, MO; one brother, Rev. Bennie (Delorie) Thompson, St. Louis, MO; two sisters-in-law, Alma Montgomery and Lorna Evans; eleven grandchildren, Trevena (Warren) Briscoe, Bryan (Stacy) Cowan, Marechal Moore, Natasha (James) Douglas, Brad (Angela) Cowan; Rachel Moore, Jason (Tiffany) Hahn, Erica Hahn, Chad Williams, Kaitlin (Christopher) Barton, and Lisa (Joe) Randolph; seventeen great-grandchildren; and two great great-grandchildren; and a best friend, Marcella Robinson. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Glendell Logan; siblings, William Montgomery, Robert Thompson, John Thompson, and Julius Matlock; one grandchild, Eddie Jackson; and a son-in-law, Elvin Moore. Bertha was a teller at Boatman’s Bank. She was a member on the De Soto Library Board, Parent Teachers Association, and a very active member of the De Soto Community Church of God, having served as Sunday School Superintendent and on the Missionary Women Board.
