Grady Lee Anderson, Sr. 78, of Hillsboro, MO, passed away at home surrounded by his family on October 22, 2018. He was born in Qulin, MO, was active in the FFA and loved playing basketball. Grady is survived by his wife Wilma Jean Wells Anderson of 58 years, children Terry Seline Anderson (Joseph), Grady Lee Anderson, Jr. (Robin), and Rodney Alan Anderson (Levana). He was a loving grandfather to Tabitha Anderson Mills (Adam), Alexandra Roser, Tanner Roser, Dustin Rose, Ethan Rose, Brantley Culley (Casey), Dylan Anderson (Abby), Samantha Anderson, and Karmilla Anderson. Great-Grandfather to Benjamin and Jillian Mills, and many nieces, nephews, and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents John T. Brooks Anderson and Mary Anna Potter Anderson of Fagus, MO; two brothers, Lester Anderson, and Joe Anderson (Stella), two sisters, Carmen Anderson Bess (Kenneth), and Kathleen Anderson Young (Jimmy). Grady was a loving father, husband, grandfather and friend to all. Grady worked in road construction and was a member of Labor Union Local 513. After his retirement he loved being outdoors, puttering about doing odd jobs, always had a garden with the best tomatoes. He enjoyed raising chickens, spending time in his Mad House, watching Westerns, talking on the CB, his handle was Crazy B, and always had a joke to tell. Grady was always there to help friends and family with anything they needed him for. |
