Raymond M. Depew was born in Horine on April 23, 1940 a son to Alma (nee Hasty) and Floyd Depew, Sr. He died at his Festus home on July 11, 2018 at the age of 78. He is survived by three daughters: Tammy (Michael, Sr.) Cords, Crystal City, Kelly (Randy) Rulo, De Soto, and Kimberly Depew, Chillicothe, MO; his wife Sandra Louise (McCabe) Depew, Festus and her children: James McCabe, Tabatha (Menard) King, and Jamie McCabe; six grandchildren: Beth, DeAnna, Michael, Jr., Randy, Jessica and Daniel; fourteen great-grandchildren: Rileigh, Jason, Gracelynn, Sebastian, Sylas, Trevor, Braylon, Stevie, Avaline, Shailee, Tayla, Isabelle, Jacob, and Annalese; five step-grandchildren: Grace, Michael, Noah, Josh, and James; two sisters: Eileen “Nini” Depew, Bonne Terre and JoAnn Beckmeyer, Cuba, MO; two brothers: Robert Depew, Pevely, and Frankie Depew, Festus; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his first wife: Sandra Lynn (Maness) Depew; three sisters: Theresa Harris, Ruthie Depew, and Barbara Depew; and four brothers: Floyd Depew, Jr., Chester “Midgey” Depew, Howard “Bubby” Depew, and Douglas Depew. He served in the United States Army and retired from the Army Reserve. He has also worked as a welder for Alpha Tank Company and was a member of American Legion Post #253 and the First Baptist Church of De Soto. The Rev. Dr. Jeremy Muniz will officiate the funeral service. |
