Frank Lucas was born on November 11, 1933 in Kingston, MO. He was the son of Melvin O’Harver and Blanch (nee Gamble) O’Harver Schell. He died on February 8, 2016 at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City, MO at the age of 82.
He is survived by his wife Gloria Jean (nee Gore) Lucas of Hillsboro, MO; two sons, Mike Lucas of Hillsboro, and Mark (Kim) Lucas of Hillsboro, MO; stepchildren, Rebecca Baugher of De Soto, MO; Ronda (David) McKalip; Shirley (Ron) Schroeder of Millstadt, IL; Cora (Ron, Jr.) Schrum of De Soto, MO; a son-in-law, P-Nut Rigdon; brothers, Oscar O’Harver of De Soto, MO; Lester O’Harver of Lake Hanna, MO; Lawrence O’Harver of Hillsboro, MO; Glen O’Harver of De Soto, MO;13 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by four children, Billy Lucas, Barbara Lucas, Karen Rigdon, and Chris Lucas; step-son, David O’Harver, Jr., step-son-in-law, Ken Baugher; siblings, Mardie Martin, David O’Harver, Sr; Shirley O’Harver, and an infant sibling; one grandson, Ron Schrum, III. After serving in the United States Army he worked as a driver for Jefferson County Redi-Mix then operated his own lawn care service. Bro. Carl McKalip Will officiate the funeral service.
