Sylvia M. Duffner

Sylvia Marie Duffner was born in the Bronx, New York City, a daughter to Vincenzo and Assunta Conte. She died at Stonebridge Senior Living, De Soto at the age of 85. She is survived by her children: Chris (Diane) Duffner and Aleen (Jason) Davis; her grandchildren Gino (Ashley) Duffner, Justin (Jaclyn) Duffner, Marina (Matt) Sarkissian, Nicholas Davis and Gabriella Davis and her great grandchildren: Cody, Cameron, Charlotte, Nora and Clay. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Daniel Duffner and two sisters: Theresa (Salvatore) Armerino and Mary (Joe) Conte. Sylvia taught elementary school for over 30 years, retiring as a Kindergarten teacher from Sunrise School. She was also a very active member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church as a member of Circle No. 659 Daughters of Isabella and the Columbia Ann’s. She also Volunteered at the De Soto Food Pantry.
