Carl J. Moormann

Carl Joseph Moormann, 67, of De Soto died May 23, 2026 at Mercy Hospital in St. Louis.  Mr. Moormann graduated from De Soto High School in the class of 1975 and went on to finish 2 years at Jefferson College.  He was a welder for many years working at Rocket Concrete Mixer Company and Kupfler Bros. Iron Works. He was a lifelong member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church and attended grade school there.  Born November 6, 1957 in Festus, MO a son to Julius and Theresa (nee Dickinson) Moormann.   He is survived by three grandchildren: Xavier Moormann, Avonlee Moormann and Hadessa Moormann, three sisters: Mary Fisher, Theresa Star and Louise Brotherton a sister in law Janice Moormann; a brother in law Richard Fisher and fifteen nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by his parents; his children: Jennifer Moormann and Andrew Moormann; two brothers: Bernard Moormann and Hermann and two brothers in law: Larry Brotherton and Bill Star.
