Norman L. Sloan was born on February 27, 1937 in De Soto, MO. He was the son of Everett and Inez (nee Stell) Sloan. He died on February 19, 2026 at Hillcrest Care Center at the age of 88.

Norman is survived by his children, Sue (Steve) Kingsland of De Soto, MO and Gary (Marci) Sloan of Colorado Springs, CO; grandchildren, Stephanie Kingsland, Sarah (Brett) Thompson, Kari (Eric) Hanson, Amber Sloan, Leilani Sloan, Ariel McPherson and Amber McPherson; and great grandchildren, Elliott Thompson, Lillana Hanson and Callen Hanson.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Wilma Jane (nee Dodson) Sloan and second wife, Mary Lou (nee Schlett) Sloan.

Norman was a retired machinist for McDonnell Douglas.
