Joseph Jackson

Joseph “Pat” Jackson was born on May 31, 1941 in Bonne Terre, MO.  He was the son of Louis Joseph & Esta (nee Billington) Jackson.  Pat died on April 14, 2025 at his home in De Soto, MO at the age of 83.

He is survived by his wife Marge “Marg” (nee Parker) Jackson of De Soto, MO; they married on May 25, 1963 at Silver Springs in Bonne Terre, MO. He is also survived by two children, Joseph P. (Eleanor Woodfin) Jackson, Jr. of Washington, MO; Christy (Daniel Stumpe) Jackson-Stumpe of De Soto, MO; 6 grandchildren, Hanna Jackson, Cindy Jackson, Chase Boynton, Tristan Boynton, Lucas Boynton, and Faith Stumpe; his siblings, Richard (Linda) Jackson of Bonne Terre, L. Steve (Verla) Jackson of Park Hills, Sandra Joyce of Bonne Terre, and Sharon Henson of Bonne Terre, brothers-in-law, Larry Lappe of Bonne Terre and Austin Sikes of Bonne Terre, Bob (Pam) Winckel of De Soto, and sisters-in-law, Karen (Ed) Schuh of Hillsboro, Melinda (Dave) McGougan of Eureka, Cheryl (Barry) Byers of Washington, and Laurie Winckel of Bonne Terre.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Robert Jackson, four sisters, Sonya Lappe, Marsha Sikes, Pamela Jackson and Helen Beiser; and brothers-in-law, James Joyce, James Henson, Bruce Winckel.

Pat was a retired carpenter and a member of the Carpenters Union Local 2214.  He had also retired from 30 years of maintenance for Queen’s Reality & Jack Queen.
