Aaron Dale Shelley was born on September 7, 1935 in Herculaneum, MO. He was the son of Thomas & Hazel (nee Thurman) Shelley. He died on March 4, 2025 at The Villa’s – Stonebridge in De Soto at the age of 89. Dale is survived by two daughters, Debbie (Jim) Chick of Hillsboro and Cheryl Collins of High Ridge; six grandchildren: Josh Shelley, Brandon (Kerri) Meyers, Sarah Kostro, Caleb (Becca) Chick, Rebecca Bondurant and Bradley (Laura) Kinney; several great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild on the way. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 66 years, Shelby (nee Harper) Shelley; four brothers, Thomas Delno Shelley, Donald Shelley, Norman Shelley, and Billy Shelley; and one sister, Norma Ruth Shelley; and an infant grandson, Scott Queathem. | |
